2ko and Koxa Are Back

WINDHOEK-After making a serious buzz on social networks and the local media two years ago, Dancehall and Afro Pop duo, 2ko and Koxa are back with a bang!

Sharing a passion for music, the two cousins, Tuulondjo Paulus (2ko) and Kondjeni Ndiweda (Koxa) are back together to do what they love most and says they are here to stay. Their new single, Beat My Dance, featuring Neslow, has just been released. “This song is a dance song in which we wanted to see if guys can dance better than girls, in short, we tried to set a dance floor for boys and girls and see those that will outshine,” says 2ko.

They also shot their music video of the song Beat My Dance directed by one of Namibia’s best video production company, the Dessert Film Production (DFP). “We chose DFP since their level of experience in the film industry has proven very fruitful for their best quality in graphics, and they possess the ability to make our expectation met and that might as well take Namibian music international more than it is now,” says Koxa.

He adds that they have been in the studio lately cooking up the new album to be titled Cassanova, which means the ladies’ man, which is expected to be launched in July. So far they have worked with Exit, M-Jay and Neslow, and have recorded their songs from Volcano Records and Rockaz ENT.

For more information, they can be visited on their new website: www.2koandkoxa.com or their Facebook page ‘2ko amp koxa’.
