A Night of Gospel At the Zoo Park

Gospel singer, Caroline Mukanwa, will have you on your feet, clapping and dancing as well worshipping at the ‘Walk in the light of God’ gospel show tomorrow afternoon.

The show focuses on raising different voices against Gender Based Violence (GBV) as well as identifying local talents. It features 24 local gospel artists such as D-Naff, Esme, GCD, Moritz, Maranatha, Bongani, Elvis, Lentina, Elize, Elivit, John, Simon Sixteen, Lukas ,SDA Choir ,Charles, Yvonne, David, Saara Polo, Asteria, Duncan Raj, Megameno, Moses, Claretha, Vuyo and two South African gospel artists namely Dumi Mkokstad and Betusile Mcinga. “I urge our nation to come and support the event. People can surely come and experience the touch of God in their Personal lives through music. It will be a spirit of hope as we pray for the end of GBV in our country. We are also encouraging our youth to be involved in creative activities that will help with mentality challenges and change our nation’s views on passion killing, drugs and alcohol abuse,” says Mukanwa.

The event is in two phases. Prophetess Titi Goroh opens first phase with a prayer and a word of courage to the Namibian youth, followed by creative dancing and performances by our local artists. The second phase has a comedian, creative dancing and performances by local artists and then a prayer by Pastor Zelda van Colff while guest artists from South Africa Dumi and his crew will take over the show till late. “These artists gracing the stage come from as far as the North, South, East and West of Namibia with only one voice, one aim and one vision, and that’s to raise our voice in uniting against GBV in Namibia,” affirms Mukanwa. The show takes place at the Zoo Park Amphitheatre from 14h00 and entrance fee is N$100.
