Environment Minister, Japanese Ambassador discuss cooperation fields

October 29, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Minister of Environment, Mohammad Mashnouq, on Thursday met at his office in the Ministry with Japanese Ambassador to Lebanon, Seiichi Otsuka, over the bilateral relations and the fields of cooperation on the environmental level.

The diplomat reportedly proposed assistance in solving the solid waste issue and air pollution in Lebanon, whereby he suggested dispatching Lebanese technicians from the Ministry to Japan to partake in training sessions.
