Erastus Uutoni urges officials to improve the image of the ministry

OSHAKATI: Deputy Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration, Erastus Uutoni has called on his officials to improve the image of the ministry.

He made the call whilst speaking to Home Affairs and Immigration officials during his familiarisation visit to the ministry’s Oshana regional office at Oshakati yesterday.

The deputy minister wants his ministry cleared of accusations that its offices offer unfriendly services and always keep people waiting in long queues.

He said improved service delivery and image of the ministry is the purpose of their turnaround strategy.

Home Affairs and Immigration officials, he said, would also contribute to poverty reduction in the country in doing proper registrations of citizens.
