Izinyoka Puts the Breaks On Star Show

THE Star Show, which would have seen South African artists AKA and Da L.E.S perform in Windhoek, has been postponed until an as yet unconfirmed date in September.

Izinyoka Entertainment yesterday said the show, which was scheduled to take place tomorrow, has been postponed as per request of one of the sponsors whose contribution was critical for the realisation of the event.

Events and talent manager at Izinyoka Entertainment, Jereld Johnson, told The Namibian that the South African artists have been informed about the sudden postponement and that plans are already being made for the show to take place in September.

“We are just looking for a date when all the artists will be available. It will definitely be in September,” Johnson said.

Management further said those who bought tickets have an option to either return them and request for a refund or keep their tickets for the September show.

AKA yesterday took to social media to apologise to his Namibian fans who have been looking forward to seeing him perform here.

“Regret to inform all my Namibian fam that the show this weekend has been postponed to a later date,” AKA said on Twitter.
