Jacobs Takes a Bow

AFTER 20 years on the comedy scene, Lazarus Jacobs is stepping off the stage. The comedian will say goodbye to comedy during his and fellow comedian Neville Basson’s 20-year anniversary on the scene at a show titled ‘Blackskottels’.

Jacobs said he feels he has done his fair share in comedy and will now concentrate on motivational speaking. He said, because of the entrepreneurial field he is in, a lot of young people approach him seeking aice regarding business. “I will still be using comedy during my motivational speaking sessions,” Jacobs said.

Friday will be the first time in eight years the two comedians will share the stage. Jacobs has promised the audience a night filled with political satire, a take at the social issues and anything under the sun. “Nobody is safe. There will be no sacred cows. You can expect some (McHenry Venaani staying in the ‘mbashus’,” the comedian said.

The show is scheduled for Thursday at the Warehouse. Tickets are available at the Warehouse or online at www.staytoday.com.na at N$200 each.
