Man arrested by Namibian Police after he stabbed another man to death

WINDHOEK: A 21-year-old man was arrested by the Namibian Police after he allegedly stabbed another man to death at Farm Terra Rossa in the Khomas Region yesterday at about 22h12.

The Namibian Police Force’s (NamPol) spokesperson, Inspector Stephen Nuuyi told journalists at a media briefing here this afternoon the suspected killer and the deceased person, identified as Albert Nariseb, 35, were allegedly embroiled in a heated argument before the stabbing incident.

The victim was stabbed in the neck and died on the spot.

His next of kin have been informed, and police investigations are underway.

In a separate incident, Tuhafeni Herman, 23, allegedly ended his life by hanging himself with a rope from a tree near Omuvapu Street in the Kilimandjaro location of the capital yesterday at about 21h00.
