Otjiwarongo Shines in School Netball League

The Bank Windhoek Schools Netball Super League produced some great action last weekend when the fourth round of the U17 league took place.

Otjiwarongo Secondary School continued their g display in the league and won all three their matches. The girls from Otjiwarongo beat Windhoek High School on home soil with an impressive 29-18 win.

However, their matches against Elnatan Private School from Stampriet and Pro-Edugate Academy from Swakopmund was not smooth sailing, as both teams fought back gly to block the passes and goal attempts from the Otjiwarongo team.

In the end, they won both matches by narrow margins, with Otjiwarongo beating Elnatan Private School 26-24 and Pro-Edugate Academy 24-23.

Despite their defeat, Elnatan Private School also displayed impressive performances, winning their matches against Mokganedi Thlabanello High School, from Drimiopsis, 26-25 and JG van der Wath Secondary School, from Okahandja 37-32.

The girls from Drimiopsis also made a g comeback, surprisingly beating Pro-Edugate Academy and Windhoek High School 28-21 and 26-15 respectively.

Windhoek Gymnasium only played one match, beating JG van der Wath Secondary School 42-15.

The next games will be played on 11 and 12 July in Swakopmund, Okahandja and Walvis Bay for the Under 17 League and in Walvis Bay for the Under 19 League.
