Paragon Unveils N$23 Million Accommodation Centre

Paragon Investment Holdings yesterday unveiled their N$23 million tourism business called the Paragon Crescent Suite, which is an accommodation centre targeting business people and others.

The centre, situated at Paragon’s head office in Eros, has seven crescent suites encompassing single and double suites at a fee of N$1 200 per night.

The centre offers self-catering services in each suite, a cafeacute, a boardroom for meetings and facilities to help one relax.

“We came up with this idea because we saw a market niche in the tourism industry and would like to offer something different to people, which can enable them to work in discretion while at the same time relax,” stated Lazarus Jacobs the executive director of Paragon Investment Holdings at the unveiling yesterday.

Jacobs said the investment could not be taken other places apart from Windhoek because the market boom is mainly in the capital city compared to other places.

“We couldn’t invest somewhere else because there is no high demand – what is the point of investing in a place where you know it will only be two people visiting the place.

That’s the reason why we invested in Windhoek because demand is high,” explained Jacobs.

Paragon was founded in 2003 with outdoor aertising services and currently Paragon has transformed into an empire with investments in property development, duty free operations, oil and gas exploration and investments publishing, marketing and aertising hospitality, food production and brand management.
