Parts of wreckage of aircraft in which One Africa Television founder and group chairman died arrives for investigation

WINDHOEK: Parts of the wreckage of aircraft V5-PVS in which One Africa Television founder and group chairman Paul van Schalkwyk died, have arrived in the capital for investigation.

The Director of Aircraft Accident Investigations, Ericksson Nengola told Nampa upon enquiry yesterday that he cannot disclose how long the investigation will take.

The crash occurred near the Etosha National Park on Saturday.

Van Schalkwyk was on a scenic flight from the Eros airport to the Ongava Lodge, but the aircraft did not arrive at Ongava as planned.

The search to locate the aircraft was launched by the Ministry of Works and Transport late on Sunday evening.
