Police Seek Help to Identify Body

OMUSATI police are requesting members of the public or anyone who has lost a relative to help in identifying the body of a young man who was found between Oshakati and Okahao, near Etunda village on 7 April.

Lineekela Shikongo, the spokesperson of Omusati police said that the man, aged between 29 and 30 is suspected to be a hit-and-run victim.

“We request the public or anyone who has lost a relative around that time to come forward and provide the police with information that could help,” said Shikongo.

He said the body is currently at the Okahao police mortuary for identification purposes.
