Pupkewitz’s Cadet Programme Bears Fruit

Pupkewitz recently called a press conference to update the public on the success of their cadet programme, which has produced a number of graduates since its establishment.

These cadets have been recruited from both the public and from within the various departments of the Pupkewitz empire. The cadets took part in a rigorous managerial development programme which involved training in the various aspects of managing a motor dealership. These included HR, parts, sales, after-sales, administration and marketing.

This programme is quickly bearing fruit for the company, with fresh blood and new ideas coming up through the ranks and added a sense of invigoration and recognition from their employer.

Of the recent graduates, Kornelius Lukas, now the newly-appointed Pupkewitz Toyota Rundu Dealer Principal, stands out. He joined Pupkewitz Motor Division as a trainee Dealer Principal in 2010 and has proven himself as “one of the best Dealer Principals we’ve have” says Managing Director of Pupkewitz Motor Division Ekkerd van Wyk.

“The motor industry has a high turn-over of staff and as the industry grows, so too does the need for qualified staff, especially those from previously disaantaged groups in managerial positions. This is why the Pupkewitz group seeks to invest in our staff, as this will be beneficial to the nation as a whole and the Pupkewitz group,” he added.

Another graduate Ankia Greef was praised by the company and the cadet programme for developing their employees into competent and multi-faceted managers ready to take the Pupkewitz group to even greater heights.

Jean-Francois Gahutu and Jaun Nel make up the rest of this year’s graduates and will now go on to take up their respective positions around the country.
