Rainy conditions expected in far south of country tomorrow, Friday: Namibia Meteorological Services

WINDHOEK: Rainy conditions are expected in the far south of the country tomorrow and Friday, the Namibia Meteorological Services has said.

Forecaster Olga Karunga told Nampa today there is a cold front over the Western Cape in South Africa, and it will introduce rainy conditions in the far south of Namibia.

Karunga said because of cold air behind the cold front, temperatures will drop significantly in the south.

She also warned that daytime temperatures could drop as far as 12 degrees at places on Thursday and Friday.

The forecast issued by the Meteorological Services for tomorrow indicated that the interior will be fine and hot in the west, elsewhere partly cloudy and mild to warm with possible light showers in the extreme south but hot in the north.
