Voigush Launches Lifestyle Magazine Programme

VOIGUSH Media are set to make waves in the entertainment industry with the launch of the television show ‘Voigush’ Saturday in Windhoek.

And, Fashion TV will be there to be part of it all.

Presenter and one of the founders of the show, model Luis Munana, said that viewers can look forward to an entertainment and lifestyle show that takes the viewer across the globe, to events happening abroad as well as those taking place right here at home.

“Season one is ready and you can expect everything and anything that is entertaining with a focus on fashion,” Munana said.

Aimed at those aged between 17 and 35, the show looks at covering all areas of entertainment from the arts to where to stay, and travel, among others.

Local content includes behind the scenes shoots of music videos, fashion shows and theatre pieces.

The show also plans to travel regionally as well as continentally with behind the scenes footage of the biggest events in Africa such as the JampB Met in Cape Town, the Metro FM music awards in Durban, the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Johannesburg and Cape Town, as well as the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in Nigeria.

International fashion shows such as the Milan Fashion Week in Italy, the World Cup in Brazil and also the New York Fashion Week in the United States will be featured.

“We also have the V-News segment where we look at what is happening in Hollywood, Nollywood, South Africa and right here at home in Namibia.

The trending five segments look at any five things that are trending at the time. It can be anything – food, people, clothes – anything and everything,” Munana said.

“Kanyi Mbau, Drum magazine, Sally Matunzi and our own Mariah Nepembe will be at the launch, as well as other big names from the corporate world,” Munana added.

An exciting factor is also that, according to Munana, the hosts and the models at the launch will be dressed by Fashion TV.

The launch will be divided into two segments, one for corporate stakeholders starting at 19h00 and another for the public, starting at 21h00.

The public will be entertained by performances by Oteya, Lil D, TKB, with DJ Stiga and crew on the decks.

Standard passes are available from the Voigush Media offices at Maerua Mall and at the door at N$150 for standard tickets and N$500 for VIPs.
