A 42-year-old man from Karasburg in the ||Kharas Region was arrested on Thursday for allegedly being found with drugs and N.dollars 12 866 in cash.
A Namibian Police Force crime report for 25 to 28 August 2022 said the suspect was arrested at a house in Westerkim residential area at about 18h36 in possession of 107 ballies of skunk cannabis, one large bag full of skunk cannabis, two full Mandrax tablets, 19 quarter Mandrax tablets plus the cash.
“All items were seized and the value of the drugs is still to be determined,” said the report.
In Opuwo in the Kunene Region, a 28-year-old man was arrested on Thursday during a police search for allegedly being in possession of 17 ballies of cannabis and two parcels of cannabis.
The report said the suspect was arrested at about 16h13 at Okapupona residential area, adding that the value of the drugs is not determined yet and the suspect will appear at Opuwo Magistrate’s court today.
