Access to HKIA terminal building only through arrival doors

The Namibia Airports Company (NAC) is informing the public that access to the departure doors into the terminal building closed on Monday 28 October 2019 until further notice.

According to a press statement availed to Nampa on Tuesday, Marketing Officer at the NAC, Dan Kamati, said the closure was as a results of the upgrade works at the Hosea Kutako International Airport (HKIA)'s congestion alleviation project.

All passengers are urged to access the terminal building through the arrival doors which have been widened.

This was to ensure that both departing and arriving passengers enter and exit in the best possible manner, Kamati said.

He added that members of the flying public must observe the applicable signage to navigate their way through the airport.

The marketing officer further advised the customers travelling during this period to go to the airport earlier to avoid any inconvenience.
