ANGOLA, NAMIBIA SIGN AIR SERVICES AGREEMENT

LUANDA, March 12 — The meeting of the 4th Session of the Angola-Namibia Bilateral Co-operation Commission has ended here with the signing of an Air Services and Verbal Process Agreement.

The two day-meeting, which started Monday, was co-chaired by João Baptista Borges, Angola’s Minister of Energy and Water, and Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, the Namibian Foreign Affairs Minister.

Both ministers noted at the opening that relations between the two countries were excellent.

They observed that the implementation of one of more two dozens of accords signed by the two countries in various domains had not been so effective, and advocated the need to find conducive ways so as to make the co-operation more dynamic for the benefit of the respective peoples.

The work of the bilateral commission are being developed by Angolan and Namibian experts from various ministerial departments, split into political, economic and social sectors.
