ANGOLA, NAMIBIA SIGN FISHERIES CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT

LUANDA, June 20 — Angolan Fisheries Minister Vitória de Barros Neto and her Namibian counterpart, Bernhard Esau, have signed an agreement on co-operation in the fisheries sector between the two countries.

Speaking to journalists after signing the agreement here Wednesday, Barros Neto said Angola and Namibia were two two African countries which had been committed to the protection and empowerment of marine resources to benefit their respective peoples.

Esau said the agreement would enable both countries to continue developing and strengthening their ties in the fisheries domain.
