BA beaten by Kaizer Chiefs

WINDHOEK:

Namibia’s Black Africa Football Club (FC) lost to Kaizer Chiefs FC from South Africa by three goals to nil at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The match was the first leg of the two teams’ Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League preliminary rounds.

Kickoff online magazine reported that Mandla Masango placed Chiefs ahead in the 18th minute, benefitting from a cross by Knowledge Musona.

Chiefs’ Kingston Nkhatha contributed a brace to give his team a comfortable win.

It was 2-0 at the interval.

Chiefs, well known as Amakhosi, continued to create chances in the second half, and added one more goal.

Another report on the match filed by the Goal.com website indicated that Namibia’s Roger Katjiteo and Willy Stephanus forced Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune into saves, but he dealt with the shots rather easily.

The second leg is scheduled for the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek on 15 February.
