BA more determined in last round of NPL games

WINDHOEK: The MTC/Namibia Premier League defending champions, Black Africa Football Club (FC), are determined not to lose any matches in the last round of league games.

Black Africa (BA) coach Brian Isaacs told Nampa on Thursday they are very determined and aggressive in their approach in this round.

They will take on United Stars FC at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday.

“We are determined to win the three points Saturday, and to challenge Tigers and African Stars who are currently ahead of us on the log,” he said.

BA are currently third on the NPL log standing with 22 points, with African Stars second with 23 points, and Tigers topping the log with 25 points.

Isaacs said they will be determined and cautious not to lose any games.

“We need to avoid making mistakes in this round like those that we made in the first half (of the league),” he said.

Isaacs added that during this round, all they want to do is accumulate points.

BA recently bowed out of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League preliminary when they lost 4-1 on aggregate against Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa.

Meanwhile, African Stars will take on Tura Magic on Friday, while log leaders Tigers will take on LHU Blue Waters on Saturday at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
