Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to Visit Central Asian Nations

Beijing: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to visit Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan for strategic dialogues with their respective foreign ministers from November 19 to 22, as announced by a foreign ministry spokesperson on Monday.



According to Namibia Press Agency, Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will undertake this visit following invitations from high-ranking officials in the three Central Asian countries. The foreign ministers extending the invitations include Kyrgyzstan’s Zheenbek Kulubaev, Uzbekistan’s Bakhtiyor Saidov, and Tajikistan’s Sirojiddin Muhriddin.



The visit is expected to enhance diplomatic relations and further strategic cooperation between China and these Central Asian nations. The dialogues aim to address various bilateral and regional issues, strengthening ties under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and other collaborative platforms.
