Climate change under the spotlight

The second annual Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) training workshop took place this week in Nairobi, Kenya. The workshop, held from 3 to 4 June touched on issues concerning climate change reporting and climate finance as well key adaptation and mitigation issues in Africa. The workshop was aimed at building capacity to advance a climate justice agenda through more effective discussions at national, regional and international level. Later this year, climate change will be the focal point of the 19th conference of parties (COP 19) in Warsaw, Poland. Participants deliberated on the challenges of reporting environmental issues.
