Congo Hindjou calls on the business community

Okahandja Mayor, Congo Hindjou has called on the business community to join hands with historians to come up with noble ideas to set up information centres for educating people about Namibian fallen heroes and heroines.

Hindjou was speaking here yesterday at Red Flag Day where he welcomed all traditional leaders including Ovaherero Paramount Chief, VekuiiRukoro and the general public to the commemoration.

This will keep the country's history alive so that people can benefit from it, he stated.

He said he does not want the elders to die with their rich history, adding that a nation without history is not a nation.

He said Okahandja is blessed to have such a massive crowd in honour of heroes like Samuel Maharero and Hosea Kutako who fought colonial occupation.
