The court case of activists Michael Amushelelo, Dimbulukeni Nauyoma and parliamentarian Inna Hengari has been postponed to 29 March to allow for further investigation.

The trio made their first court appearance in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court on Thursday after being arrested during the national protest against unemployment Tuesday. They were charged with public disorder and malicious damage to property, while only Amushelelo and Nauyoma face charges of contempt of court.

The accused have indicated their intent to submit a formal bail application in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
