Due to the skyrocketing number of Coronavirus (COVID-19) positive cases, the Roads Authority (RA) has announced that all its NaTIS offices countrywide and the Transport Regulation Permits Office in Windhoek will be operating with reduced staff until the end of June 2021.

RA Corporate Communications Manager, Hileni Fillemon, in a statement availed to the media on Tuesday said that in their efforts to mitigate the high risk of COVID-19 exposure at their offices countrywide, they undertook a decision to operate with reduced staff until the end of June. Only a limited number of clients will therefore be allowed into the cash halls.

‘We wish to appeal to clients to visit our offices for urgent NaTIS services only to avoid long queues and congestion,’ she added.

She further requested Windhoek clients to use the drive-through facilities at the NaTIS Centre in the Northern Industrial Area for vehicle licence renewals.

Fillemon noted that the safety of their clients and staff is of paramount importance, hence, the RA will continue to offer a safe and conducive environment for all.
