Dundee Precious Metals has announced the appointment of Brumilda Britz as its director for human resources, effective from 01 June 2022.

The appointment was announced on Tuesday by Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb’s Managing Director, Zebra Kasete.

“Brumilda replaces the outgoing human resources director, Linus Gwala, who is retiring at the end of June this year,” said Kasete.

Britz joins Dundee from Walvis Bay Salt Holdings, where she was a senior human resources manager for the past 11 years.

Britz also previously served as a State Prosecutor in the Ministry of Justice and holds two law degrees and a national diploma in human resources.

She currently serves as chairperson of the Chamber of Mines in Namibia’s human resources committee and is also a board member for the Namibian Institute of Mining and Technology (NIMT).
