The body of a 21-year-old male farmworker was on Saturday found hanging in his room at Farm Ongoromutjiwa in the Hochfeld area in a suspected suicide.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) spokesperson in the Otjozondjupa Region, Inspector Maureen Mbeha in an interview with Nampa on Monday said the deceased was identified a Manfried Kauandenge.
“His relatives discovered his body hanging from the roof of his room around 20h00 on Saturday,” said Mbeha.
No suicide note was found and no foul is suspected so far in connection with his death, Mbeha added.
An inquest docket was opened at the Hochfeld Police Station and police investigations continue.
