Fiji Launches 5G Network in Three Major Cities

Suva: Digicel Fiji, a telecommunications operator in the country, officially launched its 5G network in Fiji’s three largest cities on Monday. Customers in coverage areas with 5G-ready devices in Suva, Nadi, and Lautoka will be able to access faster speeds than 4G, enabling a superior user experience.



According to Namibia Press Agency, Digicel Fiji Chief Executive Farid Mohammed stated that the launch unlocks a new dimension of potential not only to improve speed but to transform the way Fijians connect. He added that 5G will soon expand to other major population centers, bringing the technology to more Fijians.
