The Ministry of Finance has appointed Francois Brand as acting executive director (ED), effective from 02 August 2021 until 31 January 2022.

Brand who is currently the head of the Procurement Policy Unit in the finance ministry will be filling the position of current ED, Ericah Shafudah who is retiring from the public service end of July.

A media statement issued by the ministry’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Tonateni Shidhudhu on Monday, said Brand served in various capacities in the ministry over a period of nine years.
