KSSR football finals slated for Thursday

The 2019 football season of the Khomas School Sport Region (KSSR) league will be concluded on Thursday at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Technical Centre in the capital.

The KSSR allows schools in the Khomas Region to compete amongst each other in football, netball, rugby, volleyball and basketball in the different age categories.

The KSSR Vice Chairperson Bertus Bock on Tuesday confirmed to Nampa that quarter finals and semi-finals will be played on Tuesday to determine which teams will make it to the finals adding that the finals are slated for Thursday, 14H30 at the NFA Technical Centre.

On Tuesday Mountview takes on A. Shipena Secondary School while Jan Jonker Afrikaner will face Acacia High School in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Jacob Marengo will face Chairman while Windhoek Technical School will play against Amazing Kids at their respective schools on Tuesday to determine the finalists.

Bock added the school children from Eros Girls School will paint the school as they celebrate the school's 54th years on Wednesday.

We came up with that initiatives to repaint the school in order to make it look new again, stated Bock.

He said the winners will walk away with different prizes such as trophies, medals vouchers amongst others.
