Man dies after allegedly causing two accidents

The driver of a Toyota Hilux SUV who drove away from an accident with a taxi caused a second serious accident with six other people on Sunday and died in the hospital on Monday morning.

Speaking at the scene of the second accident, Superintendent CharlMorkel said seven people were injured, of which two were seriously injured, including the driver who succumbed to his injuries on Monday.

In the second accident that took place around 14h23 in Begonia street, Khomasdal, the driver of the Hilux SUV drove head-on into a Ford Focus sedan and ending up face front into the wall of a nearby house.

The driver sped from the scene where he also bumped into a taxi in Wanaheda.
