A 10-year-old girl drowned in an earth dam at Omungwelume village in the Ohangwena Region’s Ongenga constituency on Sunday.
The weekend crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) on Monday indicated that the girl, Lucia Nghinananye and other children went fishing Sunday afternoon when the incident occurred.
Her next of kin have been informed.
