The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) seized various drugs and arrested 105 Namibian nationals between 01 December 2022 and 31 December 2022 in connection with the drug seizures.
NamPol in a media statement on Thursday said those who were arrested also included two Congolese nationals and one Zambian.
The types of drugs confiscated by the police included 58 781 kilogrammes of cannabis and 109 mandrax tablets valued at N.dollars 13 080.
The police also confiscated 24 units of crack cocaine valued at N.dollars 2 400, as well as two grams of cocaine powder valued at N.dollars 1 000.
