More than 2,500 inhabitants of the Mankumpi Constituency in the Kavango West Region have received identity documents

More than 2 500 inhabitants of the Mankumpi Constituency in the Kavango West Region have received identity documents since 2016.

Constituency Councillor, Lukas Muha, told Nampa in a telephonic interview yesterday that since he took office in 2016, 2 552 inhabitants of the constituency have been assisted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration (MHAI)'s outreach programme aimed at getting them their national documents.

Those who have been assisted are now able to register themselves or relatives to receive grants, he said.

This, he said, is also helping those who received national documents to improve their lives, through the grants.

The MHAI's outreach programme, held twice annually, refers to efforts that connect the ministry's ideas or practices to the public.
