Namibian Police Force in Rehoboth has opened a rape case

The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in Rehoboth has opened a rape case against a 70-year-old pensioner after he allegedly committed an immoral sexual act with his eight-year-old daughter.

NamPol's Acting Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator, Detective Chief Inspector Simon Hauwanga who confirmed the incident to Nampa on Wednesday said the rape happened between 2015 and January this year in Rehoboth.

It is alleged that the father of 70-years, sexually molested his eight-year old daughter by inserting his finger into her vagina, at their residence in Rehoboth's Block B location since 2015, Hauwanga revealed.

The suspect has not yet been arrested and investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
