Namibian Police Force in the Oshana Region on Thursday arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged stock

 The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Oshana Region on Thursday arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged stock theft that occurred at Oshipala cattle post in the Ondonga traditional district.

The second suspect remains at large.

Inspector Thomas Aiyambo of the NamPol Community Affairs office in the Oshana Region informed Nampa on Friday that 15 heads of cattle were stolen from a cattle post of 58-year-old Fillemon Muleka on 28 March, of which nine have been recovered.

According to Aiyambo, the recovered heads of cattle were found in possession of three different buyers at Ondangwa through police investigations and the whereabouts of the remaining six are still unknown.

The heads of cattle are valued at N.dollars 187 500.

The recovered animals have been handed back to the lawful owner, he said.
