The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) seized illicit drugs with a street value of more than N.dollars 800 000 in the month of September and arrested 92 people in connection with drug-related crimes.
NamPol Spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi in a media statement on Thursday said of the suspects arrested, 86 were Namibian nationals, three Angolans, two Congolese nationals and one Tanzanian.
The drugs seized include cannabis, Mandrax, crack cocaine, cocaine powder and methamphetamine.
