The MTC Namibia Netball Premier League (NNPL) over the weekend continued with rounds four and five at Ogongo for the second successive weekend in round two of the 2022 season.

The first match saw Grootfontein Netball Club (NC) up against Northern Fly Ballers, and the latter’s woes continued as they lost by a 45-40 scoreline.

Fly Ballers led the first two quarters of the game, before Grootfontein came back strongly in the third and fourth quarters to claim victory.

The second match of the weekend saw coastal side Blue Waters taking on Otjozondjupa NamPo, with the women in uniform emerging victorious by 48-40.

Another coastal side, Eleven Arrows, faced Namibia Correctional Services (NCS) in the last game of the weekend, and again, the women in uniform came out top through a 36-29 scoreline.

On Sunday, three more fixtures were played with Blue Waters losing their second match 43-38 to Young Stars, before NCS defeated Grootfontein 54-24.

The final match saw Rebels NC overcoming Eleven Arrows 46-40 in a closely-contested tie.
