NUDO will celebrate 51st anniversary on 10 October 2015

WINDHOEK: The National Unity Democratic Organization (NUDO) will celebrate its 51st anniversary on 10 October 2015.

Chairperson of the anniversary organizing committee, Joseph Kauandenge said in a media statement issued to Nampa on Friday that the event will be celebrated at the UN Plaza in Katutura, and will be attended by the party’s members from different regions of the country.

Kauandenge, who is also the special advisor to Nudo president Asser Mbai, said the event will also be used to launch the party’s official campaign for the Regional Council and Local Authority elections slated for 27 November.

He said at that event, they will introduce their candidates from various municipalities and Regional Councils to the public.

Kauandenge noted that the party has come a long way since its establishment in 1964 and played a significant role in the political history of Namibia.
