Ohangwena leadership of RDP to elect its delegates for party’s electoral college later this month

ONGWEDIVA: The Ohangwena regional leadership of the Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP) will on Sunday elect its delegates for the party’s electoral college later this month.

RDP’s secretary for the Ohangwena Region, Timo Shikongo revealed this to Nampa today, saying the regional election will take place at the Onhuno village.

He said all delegates to be elected will be illegible to vote or to be voted at the national Electoral College, where a Parliament list will be drawn up.

The Electoral College is slated for 20 September in Windhoek.

Ten out of 49 regional committee members will be elected to be ther region’s representatives at the national Electoral College.

The Oshana regional leadership of the RDP has already elected its 10-member delegation to represent the region at the electoral college.
