Old Mutual Namibia has allocated 10 per cent of the floor space in the newly constructed Keetmanshoop shopping mall to Namibian business people

WINDHOEK: Old Mutual Namibia has allocated 10 per cent of the floor space in the newly constructed Keetmanshoop shopping mall to Namibian business people.

Old Mutual Africa Operations Managing Director, Johannes !Gawaxab stated this last week while announcing the company’s annual results for 2013.

!Gawaxab said Old Mutual has signed up tenants for 80 per cent of floor space at the mall, while nine per cent was still under negotiation.

The shopping mall will provide jobs to more than 100 Namibians.

!Gawaxab said the N.dollars 92 million shopping mall will be officially opened by President Hifikepunye Pohamba on 13 March 2014.

More than 10 shops at the mall opened for business in November, including Jet, Markham, The Crazy Store, Clicks, Fashion Express, Style, Beaver Canoe and Exact.
