Police investigations in a case of a 37-year-old woman are still outstanding

Police investigations in a case of a 37-year-old woman who was arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing her boyfriend here in June this year are still outstanding.

This was made known to the accused, Rosina Basson, when she made her second appearance before Magistrate Olivia van der Colff, in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Van der Colff postponed her case to 12 December for further police investigations and for the accused to acquire legal representation.

State representative, Colleen Yisa, informed the court that laboratory test results as well as a photo plan from the scene are not yet available.

Basson, who remains in custody, allegedly stabbed 34-year-old SelestinusKawalu in the chest with a knife during an argument in the Tseiblaagte residential area on the night of 14 June 2018.
