Safety and Security Minister officially inaugurated the Namibian Police Force regional headquarters

Safety and Security Minister, Major-General (Rtd) Charles Namoloh yesterday officially inaugurated the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) regional headquarters, worth over N.dollars 77 million, at Oshakati in the Oshana Region.

While inaugurating the building in the presence of Inspector-General of the NamPol Lieutenant-General Sebastian Ndeitunga and Oshana governor Elia Irimari, Namoloh said the office demonstrates the government's dedication to improving the livelihood of members of the force.

The NamPol is mindful of the ever-growing need to improve their strategies that must accommodate the needs and aspirations of our communities, Namoloh explained.

He said in the 2019/2020 financial year, the government has allocated more than N.dollars 4.6 billion to NamPol of which over N.dollars 485 million is for development budget, including construction projects of regional offices.

NamPol has so far constructed five regional headquarters in the country for the past four years.
