Blue Waters Football Club overcame Eleven Arrows 2-0 in the 2021 MTC Namibia Football Association (NFA) Aweh Cup Round of 32 matches at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Saturday.

The coastal derby which was played inland saw both teams produce a lethargic first half, with the two teams failing to produce a single shot on target.

Former Arrows player Approcious Petrus scored the first goal for his new club when he slammed home a loose ball early in the second half before Anthony Kham was shown a red card for swearing at the referee midway through the half.

Henrico Hoebeb then scored the second goal towards the end of the match to see Waters progress to the round of 16.

In another match played at the same stadium, Julinho Sporting lost 4-3 to Young Brazilians, who had Jacobus Vries scoring a brace.

Innocent van der Westhuizen and Vicentius Jobs scored the other two for Brazilians while Manuel Francisco, Francis Effinah, and Laurentina Wanga found the consolation for Julinho.
