TORONTO: The Prime Minister, Dr Hage Geingob arrived in Toronto, Canada on Saturday afternoon for an official visit to that country.

The Premier, accompanied by a Namibian business delegation, is expected to have several business meetings and visit several businesses entities in Canada.

On Monday, Dr Geingob will attend a meeting at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) and participate in a roundtable discussion on the role of regional organisation in helping economic and political development and security.

On Tuesday, he will deliver a speech at the official opening of an annual mining conference taking place in Toronto.

After the conference, Geingob is expected to meet with Dundee Precious Metal’s senior management at the Dundee headquarters.

The Canada-based Dundee Precious Metals is the 100 per cent shareholder of the Namibia Custom Smelter in Tsumeb.
