Two More Ministers Join Nepal’s Interim Government

Beijing: Two more ministers were sworn in on Sunday afternoon for Nepal’s interim government. Nepali President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath to Minister for Health and Population Sudha Gautam and Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta in a televised ceremony.



According to Namibia Press Agency, Gautam was a former secretary at the ministry, while Gupta is a social activist. The interim cabinet now has ten members following the third expansion since former chief justice Sushila Karki became the head of the interim government on Sept. 12 after the coalition government collapsed during unrest on Sept. 8 and 9.
