WINDHOEK: A two-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy at the Okashana Kabey village in the Oshikoto Region on Saturday.

The victim and suspect are related, Namibian Police Force Sergeant Slogan Matheus said when he briefed the media yesterday, adding that the suspect was arrested, and arrangements are underway to release him under parental care.

In the Ohangwena Region, an 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two men last week.

The Police said the victim was sent by her parents to a shop when she was called by the two suspects into their sleeping hut, where they then had sexual intercourse with her.
