Beijing: Chinese Premier Li Qiang on Monday called for preserving the multilateral trading system with greater resolve. Li made the remarks while addressing the fifth Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Leaders’ Meeting. He emphasized China’s ongoing support for ASEAN centrality and its readiness to collaborate with all parties to uphold true multilateralism.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Li reaffirmed China’s commitment to the principles of multilateralism and highlighted the importance of cooperation among RCEP members. The premier’s statements come at a time when global trade dynamics are experiencing significant challenges, and there is a pressing need for cohesive strategies to maintain stability and growth within the international trading framework.
