Western Suburbs thrash Reho Falcon

Western Suburbs welcomed back Reho Falcons to the Namibia Rugby Premier League with a thrashing score of 91-9 on Saturday afternoon at the Suburbs Park in Khomasdal.

Falcons' were reinstated back to the Premier League earlier this month after they were suspended by the NRU on 20 June 2019 for failing to honour their league match against United on 15 June, due to insufficient players.

With their return to the countries elite Rugby League the bottom of the log team got a thumbing of a life time as Suburbs ran havoc on them wit5 tries on the day of which only seven were converted.

The Rehoboth outfit who had no reply to their superior opponents only managed to score three penalties.

Suburbs tries scorers are; Roderiques Victor (three), Eliot Lombard, Ryan Garoeb, AJ Kearns (four), Morgan Esterhuizen (four), Nazume Swartz and Ricardo Swartz.

Nazume Swartz scored four of the conversions while BronwonWillemsescore two and Ricardo Swartz scored one of the seven conversions.

Franklin Busch scored all the three penalties for Falcons.

In another Premier League match also played on Saturday, Rehoboth beat Kudus 49-29 in Rehoboth to remain on course of reaching the semi-finals play offs of the Premier League.

With their landslide victory Suburbs collected a bonus point which improved their points from 22 points to 27 points but are still fourth on the log standing while Rehoboth who were on 19 points and having a match in hand also collected a bonus point for scoring more than five tries and are still fifth on the log with 24 points.

Despite losing their match in Rehoboth, Kudus remain sixth on 14 points and has two matches in hand still to play.
