Brisbane: A man and a child have died after being hit by a vehicle south of Brisbane in eastern Australia on Sunday morning. Police in the state of Queensland said that emergency services were called to a crash involving a utility vehicle and two pedestrians in the suburb of Regents Park, 22 kilometers south of central Brisbane, around 11:15 a.m. local time on Sunday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, both pedestrians, a 33-year-old man and a four-year-old boy who were known to each other, died at the scene. The 41-year-old male driver of the utility vehicle was taken into custody.
